This was a great way to spend a beautiful day in Boston. Leah was a fantastic tour guide! You can tell she is passionate about the city and it shows with the history lesson we got along the way. As a lifelong Bostonian, she taught me more about the history of the city and showed us some great out-of-the-way places for both food and history that I never knew even existed. It was so relaxing to stroll the North End and enjoy some great food. Highly recommend this tour, you won't be disappointed

If you are visiting Boston this is a must do. Leah, our tour guide, was excellent. She was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the food as well as the history of Boston. We were able to stop and ask her questions. We started our tour at Haymarket, walked the cobblestone streets of the North End and ended at Boston Harbor. Some of the local delights we sampled were a lobster roll, an Italian sub and pastry, donut holes, nuts, chocolate, and beer. There was plenty of food. No one will be hungry on this tour. One of my favorite stops was sitting in the park by the Old North Church, soaking up the history, watching the people, and sampling the food. It was the perfect day.

Not only was the food on this tour amazing, but the overall experience with our tour guide, Leah, was wonderful. I loved walking around the city on a beautiful summer day, exploring new spots I had never been to, and sampling more food than I was expecting. I was extremely impressed with Leah's knowledge about the historical city of Boston, and her anecdotal stories about the businesses we visited. On our leisurely 3 hour tour we visited numerous businesses. In the Boston Public Market we sampled a delicious lobster roll from Reds Best, a sweet donut hole from Union Donuts, and several samples of nuts from Q's Nuts. We then crossed into the North End, where we made a stop at Modern Pastry for a cannoli, Salumeria Italiano for an Italian sub and Parziale's Bakery for freshly baked bread. Located directly behind the Old North Church was Captain Jackson's historic chocolate shop, which had chocolate-making demonstrations going on using a recipe very close to that of Colonial America, and where we were served a sample of liquid chocolate. Finally, we concluded our tour at The Golden Goose, a market/grocery store where many locals shop. There, we sampled a tasty beer called Down Road, which is brewed locally in Williamsburg, MA. This tour was the perfect way to get a taste of local cuisine that I might not otherwise try. The tour is a must-do when visiting Boston.
