This was an ok tour. It was VERY cold and we walked a lot. Our tour guide told a story at each stop. It would have been better if the guide pointed out little points of interest along the way. We have been on ghost tours Savannah and Boston so that is what we are comparing this to.

Compared with other Ghost tours I have taken elsewhere, the Bulldog Tours Ghost and Graveyard Tour was pretty dull and lacked content based in local history. It didn't seem like much research had been done. I thought their sales pitch of going into a graveyard would make the tour special, but the tour guide really didn't use the graveyard to any real advantage. The stories were mostly generic and didn't introduce local Charleston history. The tour spent too much time in parking lots and alleys. The guide said regulations prevent tours from standing in residential areas, but there were plenty of other places to go other than parking lots. The tour was rather dull. I cannot recommend this tour.

I am so sorry that you weren't happy with the tour. Please call us and let us know who your guide was. We don't know of a guide that mostly stands in alleys or parking lots. Yes, we aren't allowed to go to residential areas after 6pm. We do sometimes stand in the parking lot right next to the graveyard because we aren't allowed to block the sidewalk. I'm sorry about that. The alley we go in is Lodge Alley, which has a ton of history and great stories. Thank you for the feedback.

The stories were boring and not compelling. An awesome location with a horrible, long, drawn-out, boring tale about nothing. Not a ghost tour at all. The graveyards were wonderful, but the guide did not bring anything to make it worthwhile.
