Dolphins and shore birds will entertain you with their whimsy. You'll enjoy seeing sites such as the forts, the Battery, the islands and the lighthouses. See the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge from a different perspective as we cruise under it. This is not a guided tour. However, our captain and mate are prepared to answer any questions that you may have. Soft drinks, beer and wine are available for purchase.

Paid parking is available in the SC Aquarium Parking Garage (5 minute walk) or at the parking meters on Concord Street. Please keep in mind that street parking can sometimes be difficult to find. The Charleston Maritime Center (owned by the City of Charleston) sadly does not offer parking to the public. However, passengers are allowed to be dropped off. As you get closer to the water look for the blue & white Sandlapper Tours ticket booth on the left dock. Feel free to call if you have questions or need help.

Lovely sunset cruise around charleston harbor. Great size boat. No loudspeaker narration. The captain and crew will explain sights but otherwise this is a quiet relaxing two hours. Definitely not a booze cruise tho they had wine and beer for sale along with cheese and crackers. One of the highlights of our trip. Particularly nice to take the evening trip after a day of 100 degree temps. Saw dolphins along the way. A real pleasure.

This was our third trip to Charleston, and the Sandlapper Haunted Harbor Tour was great. Ed Macy was the tour guide...and we had NO idea what a treasure we were getting. Ed was well-informed, entertaining, and a lot of fun. He has written several books on the ghosts of Charleston and has been on a few TV specials. The cruise offered a cash bar - inexpensive drinks were available. Not the best drinks, but I had a decent glass of wine for $3. Would definitely recommend this to groups of adults - but not for small children. Parts of the tour were graphic - as you would expect for this type of event.
