Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist

This is like walking into Europe. Without a doubt this is the most beautiful interior in the city.

Battery & White Point Gardens

Once an oyster bed known as White Point, this area was developed on landfill specifically for a park. It served as a battery of cannons during the Civil War and was also the site of the execution of Steve Bonnet, the Gentleman Pirate.

Evans is a pleasure to spend a couple hours walking through the historical city. His knowledge of Charleston is outstanding & is obviously respected by his peers as everyone on our trip knew & loved him. Bring your camera, because Evans will put you in front of some of the most beautiful architecture in America. In a city filled with history, it’s nice to have someone with family ties to the city for centuries. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS TOUR!!

We had a confirmed tour and the guide failed to show up. We were fortunate to join another tour company's group.

I am so sorry for not meeting you the morning you showed up for the tour. According to our records you did show up a day early. Luckily we were able to transfer you to one of our partners and got you out on a tour that met your schedule.

We had a wonderful tour with Evans Byrd. Fortunately we were his only clients today so he treated us like royalty. He modified our tour and made it a grand tour where we saw everything that we would’ve wanted to see in Charleston with great description. Evans is a fantastic guide, well informed and very personable. Don’t miss this one, especially if your time in Charleston is limited.
