Explore some of Charleston's enchanting alleyways and historic sites on this small group, 2-hour walking tour. With our small group tours, you are guaranteed a more intimate and up-close experience. Charleston's alleyways are fortunately located within the popular historic district which allows us to include some well known points of interest and go a little "off the beaten path” while exploring the history and beauty of Charleston's enchanting alleyways. Generally, we include between four to six different alleyways/passages as well as popular points of interest like Rainbow Row and of course, tons of history! These pedestrian passageways are often overlooked, but walking along these cobbled paths is an opportunity to appreciate Charleston's rich history and hidden, more intimate charms.

This tour was fabulous! Captain Jim was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable. Took us through all the nooks and crannies of historic Charleston.

Charleston is such a great city to explore, but this tour really took us into a couple of easily overlooked areas that you would walk right past. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept a good pace and covered a lot of area. The info was heavy in the beginning of the tour then it sort of tapered off. Overall great 2 hours spent.

Great experience, great guide, good scenes of some alleys and backyards you can’t see from street. Nice history lesson. Lots of walking on bricks and stones. Took full 2 hours.
