The fireworks itself were so amazing! The city of Chicago really does an amazing job. The view and show, really spectacular. But what ruined the experience for us was the commentator. He talked and talked and talked and would not shut up. He was talking so fast that we couldn’t understand what he was saying, he was talking about unrelated things. It was overbearing and uncomfortable. Several people around us were complaining. There was absolutely no reason to talk that much. We were wanting to enjoy the evening and we really couldn’t. Overal, soooo uncomfortable and unenjoyable. It would be fine to hear a little about the city but 2 full hours of someone you can’t even understand. It seemed he was on some sort of substance like ann upper and couldn’t stop himself. Would not recommend this guide.

I booked a fireworks cruise for my daughter’s 8th birthday. They filled the boat with so many people there was nowhere to sit where you can see the fireworks. Imagine walking around all day and then being crammed onto a boat with no where to sit. Apparently, getting there 30 minutes early wasn’t enough. Maybe try 2 hours…or perhaps another company that doesn’t oversell the tour.
