On our Secret Food Tour: Chicago, you'll enjoy a variety of foods with culinary influences from the people who built this city.

You'll experience all the city's biggest food hits, many dishes with roots dating back over 150 years. This moving feast incorporates a walk through some of the city's world renowned architecture and public art in the famed Chicago Loop District. Experience our famous deep dish pizza, taste the amazing Italian beef sandwich, enjoy gourmet popcorn, and lots of other treats. Plus, there is our mouth-watering secret dish that you can only find out about on the day of the tour!

As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

Chicago Public Library - Hall Branch

It was named for the city’s first African American Mayor, who served from 1983-87 and opened in 1991. Chicago’s known for having some of the finest architecture in the world.

Financial District

centered on LaSalle Street in the Loop, is the fulcrum of the heartland’s economic engines. Looming skyscrapers form a canyon-like effect down LaSalle, which ends abruptly with the Art Deco masterpiece of the Board of Trade on Jackson. Floridly-dressed commodity traders at the Board of Trade, regulators at the Chicago Fed, and bankers of all pinstripes know this power corridor very well.

Calder’s Flamingo

53-foot tall stabile located in the Federal Plaza in front of the Kluczynski Federal Building. It was commissioned by the United States General Services Administration and was unveiled in 1974, although Calder's signature on the sculpture indicates it was constructed in 1973.

The story of downtown Chicago’s Palmer House Hilton is one of romance and undeniable charm. Potter Palmer was a Chicago business magnate—well-known for a variety of endeavors, including his significant role in the development of downtown Chicago’s iconic State Street.

The tour was much more than we expected to see! Wear walking shoes since it’s a lot of walking and bring a water bottle if it’s a warm day. We liked the tour of the Library and Palmer House and all the food stops. A little disappointed we didn’t go to Portillo's though. Clinton, our guide was awesome and at the end of our tour suggested our group stop by Cindy’s Bar on top of the Chicago Athletic Association, which we did and the view of the lake was spectacular! Highly recommend all to go. We understood gratuity was included for our guide in the price we paid so we did not tip extra at the end of our tour. Would recommend this tour whenever you are in Chicago!

Clinton was an amazing storyteller! He was nice and personable. We really enjoyed our tour. Our tour was scheduled during a heat wave in July. I would say the last leg of the tour was a bit challenging for me but it was worth it!

Clinton’s food was great . It was part food , part history lesson about Chicago, He not only gives you a lesson in the history of iconic Chicago food and its background, but also takes you into some of Chicago’s iconic buildings. He is an avid history fan so was able to answer many questions we had about Chicago and as first timers to the city, he gave us a lot of interesting facts and some great tips about this wonderful city . The 3 hours seemed to go so fast as we explored many areas of the downtown Chicago area . I would highly recommend this tour
