FABULOUS! Our guide, Island, was friendly and informative. I would recommend to anyone. The clear kayaks are not as monuverable as regular kayaks, but it's cool to see tge bioluminescent underneath.

We only saw “sparks” of bioluminescence but that’s no fault of the guide. But I feel my kayak wasn’t balanced properly as the bow popped up a lot and made it difficult to row straight. I was in a kayak of the same size as the tandems but I was rowing by myself in the back so maybe it needed weights in the front to balance or maybe a smaller center-seated kayak like the guide had would have been better. Despite this, the guide was knowledgeable and I’m glad he tethered my parents to his kayak since they were having trouble rowing in sync.

When we were on the water- it was great. But there were sand fleas and we ended up getting bit waiting in the guides to pass out paddles and give instructions. We had over 45 bites on our legs and itched for 8 days after the excursion. Make sure you wear long sleeve pants and shirts on the evening tours
