This was our first kayaking experience on the Crystal River. Ryan was nice but it was a super windy day. We struggled to see manatee but did end up seeing some towards the end. He did show us the natural springs. My kids wanted to stop and swim (which they did). I felt bad for the other in our tour bc they just sat off to the side. I think there should be different tours for those who want to swim vs those who do not. Just a recommendation.

our guide was james, james was awesome!!! he tried very hard to give us the best possible trip. he was talkative and friendly, adapted to our needs. we saw manatees, turtles and baby crocodiles. Unfortunately, the homepage only said at the end that the tip would be taken in cash and not directly via the app. In the app you can select this explicitly, so we gave a double tip, maybe. as a tipp to note this and only give cash. the trip was well worth it. We would do it again.
