Clearwater Beach

Come join us on a fun filled, narrated sightseeing tour of Clearwater’s harbor. Enjoy a relaxing ride while you learn about our abundant wildlife, and view the area’s dolphins in their natural environment. Every trip stops at Compass Island where you can collect shells, swim, snorkel and the kids can even hunt for treasure! Excursions depart from the Clearwater Beach Marina multiple times every day. Spend an hour and a half to an hour and forty five minutes with our highly trained crew in the Clearwater Harbor on board our brand new 40 foot Coast Guard inspected excursion boat. For twenty to thirty minutes during your trip, the boat will stop at Compass Island where you will have the opportunity to shell hunt through thousands of shells, swim, snorkel (gear is provided) and enjoy the island.

This was a lot of fun. We saw several dolphins and enjoyed stopping at the island to look for shells. The island is tiny, but there are shells all over. The crew was great.

We were in Florida for a conference. We have never seen or been in the ocean. My wife saw the advertisement Memorial Day weekend. And called. They Never said a word about the parking situation! We came from Orlando for this. My wife and I are disabled. We came super early to get a parking space. We drove around all day trying to find a parking space. We called in earlier to see if we could cancel, and we were told no. We were still trying to find a parking space when the boat left. We spent the whole day for this! Paid for a cruise we could not go on. We are not happy with all this. We wasted a whole day of our trip in Florida. A hotel stay also. You think they would have mentioned this when we called to sign up. Worst Day in Florida. We will never go back, or recommend this business to anyone we know. Is this how you treat your visitors? So much was not mentioned to us. A lot of stuff we were not told!

I am very sorry that you missed your trip due to conditions that are very much outside of our control. We try extremely hard to get information to all of our guests to include parking and traffic backups. Every weekend and holiday is extremely busy on this beach, and every beach around the area. We notify ALL customers at the time of purchase about traffic conditions. One of our screening questions as someone is making a phone or in person reservation is "are you planning on driving or walking to us". If the answer is driving traffic conditions on the beach are clearly explained to all customers. ALL reservations also receive a booking confirmation email which states MULTIPLE TIMES, about traffic and parking conditions on the beach. 6 hours before, a reminder email is sent to all reservations containing the same information. Additionally, we go above and beyond to reach everyone on the day of their trips with yet another email explaining heavy traffic on the beach as well as a phone call to the customer. In your case, yes, all 5 of those notifications went to you. Additionally, in all of those emails and our conversations on the day of your trip, the missed trip policy was discussed with you as well. Your group was the ONLY group that missed their trip that day. We are a small business, with very limited capacity and every no show has a significant impact and we cannot refund or reschedule those who miss their trips to other days. This is why we go above and beyond spending hours trying to notify people, from that I'm not really sure what else we can do. If there was anything more we could have done to let you know, please please please let me know so we can start implementing that as well.

We saw several Dolphins which was wonderful, however if you were on the wrong side it was very difficult to see because others were standing up. In the back you also could not hear what the guide was saying.

Thank you for coming out with us! I'm very sorry to hear about that issue. We will be sure to have a little more interaction with the guests during the dolphin sightings to ensure everyone has a better view. Thank you for letting us know about the sound gap in the back of the boat, I'm looking into that first thing today!
