Went to enjoy an afternoon on the water with the hope of seeing some dolphins and w were lucky enough to see a big group all around our boat after about an hour or so of cruising along. Unfortunate that we had a gray day weather wise and it was definitely chilly, but that meant the boat was about half full so we had plenty of room to spread out and get good views when we eventually found the dolphin groups. The captain and his crew were nice and friendly and gave some good information about dolphins in general and their habits. Wish we could have had a nicer weather day, but it was still a good afternoon on the water with the dolphins.

We started out in the fog and it constantly improved...Kind of surrealistic as we headed out to sea. The fog lifted and thousands of dolphins showed up with the humpbacks following. Very exciting and a must-do excursion. Chuck, Caitlin and Janel are a first-class team.

The team at Captain Daves is ALWAYS spectacular. From the phone confirmation of the trip, to the check in process, to the captains, first mates and naturalists on the boats, you are made to feel like family. Their enthusiasm is infectious! Today Captain Gary cut through the fog and took us to a Humpback Whale, Fin Whale and thousands of Common Dolphins. To the delight of all on board, the Humpback whale breached for us. What a fabulous sight! Captain Gary was as excited as all of us! If you are thinking of taking a trip aboard a Captain Dave's vessel, don't hesitate. So much fun!!!
