I purchased this tour through Groupon which has always been a great experience. This one not so great. The communication with the tour guide was terrible. I sent numerous emails confirming our tour, time and date to meet and he responded with basically go to my website and figure it out. Once I got everything “figured out”, a few hours before I am set to go on the tour I get an email from the tour guide telling me the tour has been cancelled and to contact Groupon for a refund. Luckily I was able to contact another tour company (Hottest Hell Tours) and was able to book within a few hours of next tour. Scott was great! Communication was excellent.

I'm sorry that you had a difficult time. I know that the times and dates are on the offer you purchased, and that you were confirmed days before the tour. As for the cancelling, as a small local business, if there's a personal emergency for a guide, we don't have a cast of dozens of employees to call upon, like the out of state tour you went on.

Highly recommend this tour. Not a run of the mile tour that just throws facts at you and moves on, led by some dork in a hot topic trench coat. This tour is given by someone who we could tell authentically loved his hometown and really painted imagery within the tour that brought the dark history alive. I didn't know what to expect as this was a "different" kind of ghost tour, and it was amazing! He gave us amazing recommendations for pre-katrina local restaurants that all killed! HIGHLY recommend any of Jonathans tours!
