Enjoy a beautiful sail on a 63-ft schooner around the Grand Traverse Bay. This family-friendly sail includes locally-sourced food and drinks. Help raise the sails and sit at the helm while you learn about the natural and cultural history of the region. You are pampered by the captain and crew while you relax and take in the amazing colors of the water, feel the wind on your skin and taste the food and drink fresh from the farms and shops of the area.

Captain Jason and his crew were amazing. Lots of fun to talk to and we learned a few things about sailing and the area. Food and wine were locally sourced and delicious! And the sailing experience was outstanding. If you never had done it, go for it. So much more relaxing than I ever thought of. Will definitely go again!!

We were in town for the week and were perusing the brochures at the hotel and saw the brochure for Wind Dancer. The advertisement is well done and eye catching. We called and setup a day sail for the next day. What an amazing few hours we had. Captain Jason and the crew did a great job and the weather was perfect for a sail. We both had never been on a sailboat so just the feeling alone of being pulled through the water with really cool. The lunch that was served was exceptional, incredibly fresh, and filling. It was only about halfway through this fantastic experience that we learned that this was the first week of operation for the boat and it's crew. This excursion is well worth the money and it's an experience that you won't forget any time soon.

This is a great way to experience big boat sailing on a scenic bay in a spectacular area of Michigan. The crew were all personable, attentive, and capable. The local food was particularly delicious!
