Charleston City Market

Our Barn is located just off of the Charleston City Market. You will meet your certified tour guide here and then you will depart on your hour long horse or mule drawn carriage tour. The carriage will go through the City gate at the market where the tour guide is assigned a tour route. You will see about 30 blocks of the historic district which will include beautiful architecture, churches, buildings, gardens and more. The tour returns to the Big Red Barn.

Very knowledgeable guide. Did a great job! Was a fun way to learn a little bit of the history of Charleston. Would definitely do it again.

Great fun and very informative. The guide was awesome and and so was the horse! Operation ran on time and was affordable. Well worth the money.

Jeremy was our tour guide. He gave an excellent tour of a historic section of Charleston. Very informative. We were very impressed with the whole outfit, from booking to the ease of changing our reservation, requesting and getting an earlier time on the phone. Upon arrival, a bit early they gave us an even earlier time. Very clean barns and well cared for animals. My only regret (not the fault of the company )is that you have no choice of the route you get. The city of Charleston limits the number of tour carriages in each section, so it is at random what section you get. Again, not the fault of the tour company.
