Charleston City Market

Our Barn is located just off of the Charleston City Market. You will meet your certified tour guide here and then you will depart on your hour long horse or mule drawn carriage tour. The carriage will go through the City gate at the market where the tour guide is assigned a tour route. You will see about 30 blocks of the historic district which will include beautiful architecture, churches, buildings, gardens and more. The tour returns to the Big Red Barn.

The tour was nice. Guide was knowledgeable and Goober was well trained. I enjoyed the ride and would definitely try other parts of the tour

The carriage was comfy and the information about how well cared for the horses are and the bonding between horse and guide was much appreciated. I love that the guides have a sense of humor. There were a couple of places I would have loved to have gone by on our route, but the route is a lottery system, which makes a lot of sense to me, so I just hit those other places on foot later. The information provided by the guide was interesting. This tour company is extremely professional and friendly. Scott was our guide, and he has an excellent rapport with Elwood and loves his city! He gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation at the end, and we went right over.
