U.S. Custom House
Your route also includes a pass by the iconic U.S. Custom House in Charleston, S.C. Construction began in 1852 but was halted due to South Carolina's potential secession from the Union. The building was finally completed in 1879, adding to Charleston's rich history.

Loved this ride through the historic "French quarter" and more of historic Charleston. The driver offered information on the historic significance, reasons for the home and building designs, cultural historic notes, and some "off the record" legends alongside the official history.. He also provided some useful present-day information useful for visitors. Additionally some of the interactions between the driver and the horse made the carriage ride more entertaining than any bus tour could have ever been. They were very much a team that knew what they were doing, safely, effectively and enjoyably.

Tyler was excellent. Me.B. and DICK were awesome.also. We had a zone three tour through the City Of Charleston. It was absolutely fabulous..
