Charleston City Market

Our Barn is located just off of the Charleston City Market. You will meet your certified tour guide here and then you will depart on your hour long horse or mule drawn carriage tour. The carriage will go through the City gate at the market where the tour guide is assigned a tour route. You will see about 30 blocks of the historic district which will include beautiful architecture, churches, buildings, gardens and more. The tour returns to the Big Red Barn.

Great tour. Recommend doing it early as possible so you can have time to walk around and visit the many sites you see.

Scheduled this through our time share and it seemed like the thing to do after reading all the reviews. Should have known got to stop reading reviews because I honestly thing a lot of people lie or just don't know. From the arriving my thought was check the horses and surroundings . I was very surprised by the way the horses was taken care of. The place and the horses were in fabulous condition. I was shocked because I had just read a article about how bad the Amish treat their horses very bad . On to the ride $110. dollars for 2 of us that only lasted maybe 45 minutes. Told us about a lot of houses and could not hear or understand the coach driver . Need a microphone and speakers because when he is facing forwards u can't hear him . He showed us what we could see by just walked or driving around and probably learn more. Don't know about the others but this was a total rip off and would not suggest this to anyone. Great care of the horses but that is the end .
