U.S. Custom House
Your route also includes a pass by the iconic U.S. Custom House in Charleston, S.C. Construction began in 1852 but was halted due to South Carolina's potential secession from the Union. The building was finally completed in 1879, adding to Charleston's rich history.

Beautiful views. Great amount of information and it had some wonderful humor thrown in so it never got dull. Loved being able to pet and say hi to the horses in a safe and caring environment! Loved every minute of it and the safe were all so kind l!

We had an amazing carriage ride through the waterfront area with historic views and a great narrative by our carriage driver of the Charleston area.

Great info about houses, history, food, the horses, and Charleston in general while relaxing in a carriage ride. Combined it with the Ft Sumter tour for a great afternoon.
