Charleston City Market

Our Barn is located just off of the Charleston City Market. You will meet your certified tour guide here and then you will depart on your hour long horse or mule drawn carriage tour. The carriage will go through the City gate at the market where the tour guide is assigned a tour route. You will see about 30 blocks of the historic district which will include beautiful architecture, churches, buildings, gardens and more. The tour returns to the Big Red Barn.

Great activity with 15 yr old granddaughter. It was like a rolling museum visit. Our tour was held up at the beginning as they waited for a client who was 20 munutes or more late:( (like sitting on the tarmac waiting to take off) After a while the trip seemed to be getting repetitive but our guide (Gay) was friendly and knowledgeable and our horses (Marty and Misty) were smooth and well behaved. Over all a good trip and I would recommend it to friends and family. Charleston is beautiful.

Van was the best tour guide ever!! He knew so many interesting facts about Charleston, we did the Zone 2B tour. It was excellent. The horses are obviously well taken care of, and the overall experience was great. We certainly enjoyed and will definitely come back. This company was far better than the others in Charleston. Don’t go to anyone else!

Very interesting history of the city. Driver very knowledgable and friendly. Buildings are amazing, would live to have a house like that.
