Take the tour; you won't regret it! What I love most about living in New York is that even after many years here there is still something new to discover. Case in point with the "Death in New York" tour. I've been through the streets of Lower Manhattan countless times but was oblivious to the history brought to life on this tour. Walking tours are often just a memorization of the facts by the guide, but Krombie is passionate about the subject (which shines through) and can field any number of questions. The whole tour feels like a conversation with the past, not a lecture. Highly recommend this one to visitors looking for something "uniquely New York" as well as to those who have been here for years who still want to be delighted by the city.

This tour guide lives and breathes New York City and she's very passionate about sharing this knowledge. You'll get a whole new perspective on the city in terms of deaths and burials. If you are super-geeky, you can get ahead by reading the tour guide's book "Death in NY" beforehand!

This is a wonderful and unique tour of lower Manhattan, an area well covered by tour guides, but none like this! K. Krombie has a remarkable ability to recount specific details of New York history coupled with a storyteller's ability to weave it all together. The guide is affable, very funny and professional :) I highly recommend to locals as well as tourists who are looking for something off the patten path. Look forward to participating in other tours offered by this guide!
