A wonderful day with only 2 other Jeeps. Clear weather, majestic views of snow capped mountains and glaciers. Reflection lake was the best along the Denali Highway.

We were in a caravan of 5 jeeps. Already stated - newer, automatic jeeps w/ AC. No off-roading. This is a 120 mile tour on a flat road where you'll see lakes, rivers, streams and possibly Denali (on a clear day). We got several beautiful family shots that will look great on our Holiday card. We saw 1 moose and that was really it. Oh, swans on the lake. At 60 miles in, we turned around and headed back on the same road. It was enjoyable for the first 30 minutes or so, but this is an almost 5-hour tour. We had 2 kids w/ us and they were completely bored. I wouldn't recommend this for families - as mentioned in previous reviews, whiney kids aren't fun for anyone. Pros - the guide was fantastic - extremely knowledgable. They offerred snacks and drinks at the halfway point, nice touch. There is 1 bathroom stop. Jeeps are very nice. Cons - gets repetitive and long, especially because you turn around and come back the exact same path. Not recommended w/ kids.

On June 17 at 9:00 P.M. with a flat tire and a flat spare on our vehicle, Larry, with Denali Highway Jeep Excursions near Denali, Alaska, drove by with his tour group and saw us stranded in the middle of nowhere with no cell signal. He was an Angel who not only found a space for me and my tire among his Jeeps, but then, most importantly did not desert me. After completing his tour and work with all his "Jeepers" he put air in my spare, got his own personal car, and drove me three hours back to my vehicle and changed the tire, at 5:00 in the morning! Then he had to drive hours back to his home. My Angel that I will not forget, Thank You for all you did!
