We went at 0730 before the heat kicked-in. Audio had lots of info BUT bote this price does NOT include entrance fee so make sure you take a dollar per person. We had not realised that. With the audio deal you get a certificate at the end.

Steve F a local driver and tour guide for our Princess shore excursion of Diamond Head was great both in his friendly and humorous delivery of information and care for his group. The hike to the top of Diamond Head is moderate to challenging. Steve was with our group all the way to the top and back. We were never hurried. The challenging part of the hike he offered a different route for those not up to climbing 99 steps at a steep angle. The views from the top of Diamond Head are breath taking and picturesque.

The hike is very short and the possibilities to do the other trails were closed. I'm a little over it but the view is very beautiful.
