We really enjoyed our tour with Ryan, who's a fun guy with a good line in stories about the city. He does what he does well, and most all of his tips that we were able to take up proved worthwhile. There's a lot to tell and we covered lots of ground both by foot and by chronology in the two hours. Well worth it, and do it first if you want to get the best out of your trip.

Ryan was an amusing and informative tour guide. We saw parts of downtown Nashville that we would not have found on our own. He took us down the alleyways and showed us the places that tell the story of Nashville. It was very special to see the Walgreens where Freedom Riders protested the Jim Crowe Laws. Ryan’s stories brought Nashville history alive! He interacted with the people on the tour and encouraged our participation. He inspired us to return to some places for more in- depth exploration or for dinner, drinks and music. This was a great introduction to Nashville!
