Our most popular tour and it often sells out! Hosted by a local expert, you will learn about the fascinating history, folklore, culture, famous founders & current residents, the food scene and current events. This is a great experience for locals, those that have recently relocated, tourists, corporate retreats, birthday & other celebrations and bachelorette parties!

Tour groups of 10 or more are considered private tours-please call for booking. Our restaurant partners need plenty of advance notice for reserving tables for large groups. We are happy to personally work out the details on these experiences for you!

We recently met friends in Sarasota for a few days together. We've found food tours to be a fun and tasty way to learn about a new city and sample its flavors. This one ranked among the best food tour experiences we've had. Christine is very well organized in handling the logistics, her passion for and knowledge of the city was fascinating, and her restaurant and menu choices were spot on! We did a lot of comfortably paced walking, and Christine kept it very interesting. Our group (about 10) was very companionable, and it was fun to sit with different members of the group at each stop (3 restaurants, then a yummy gelato shop for dessert). It was a delightful afternoon, and we've become Sarasota fans, too...thanks, Christine!

This was a fantastic way to hear about Sarasota history, and see what downtown Sarasota has to offer, as well as sample a few restaurants!

Overall a good experience- our guide was newer and I think could improve greatly with some additional guidance! It would be nice to have more information about the places we stopped at, why the restaurant was chosen for the tour, and what to expect would be tasted/served. However Scott was kind and did offer to take photos etc. at different places along the way. We really enjoyed meeting some new people (the fun of a food tour is having an adventure with a random group of strangers!) and we would give this tour a second chance next time we are in Sarasota! We also had excellent communication ahead of the tour to accommodate for my shrimp allergy- which was reassuring. Would recommend!

Lora, thank you for the helpful tips and feedback. Yes, we typically provide a discussion of expectations at the initial meet & greet/check in. I'll communicate with all of the guides that this is always a necessary first step. It's human nature to want to "know". Scott is a gem of a human and yes, very kind person!
