eBike Rainforest Experience

After a 9 mile narrated van ride to the north end of Douglas Island and a short training session, guests start e-biking. After riding along the shoreline on a paved dedicated bike lane taking in fresh ocean breezes and stunning views of the largest national forest in America. The tour takes you on a short walk down an old growth Forrest path to a secluded beach offering amazing photo opportunities.

This was an amazing tour! We were on a cruise, and our group (8 of us) decided to do this tour while stopped in Juneau. Our guides, Rueben & Jarren were fantastic.

Kate and Kaia were the friendly, enthusiastic guides for our group of 8. We all had an introduction on how to ride the e-bikes within the confirmed of a car park, before we ventured on our cycle to the rainforest. The roads were v quiet and felt safe. Gentle walk thro the rainforest learning about the trees and plants along the way. Beautiful view at the waterside and surprise edible taster. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our guides were great. Would recommend

First of all we would like to thank Erin who kindly altered our start time at short notice, much appreciated. Our two guides Kate and Carli where fun to be with, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, surrounding plants and countryside. We couldn't have asked for better guides. Bikes were great, and we enjoyed our ride out of Juneau on the cycle lane of the road. Views were wonderful, with a stop to look over to the Mendenhall Glacier. The girls provided us with a snack of yummy smoked salmon pate ( made by a local) with crackers when we walked down a nature trail to the seashore. We booked through Viator and their description of the Tour stated that we rode a Gravel mountain road into the Tongass forest, which we were looking forward too. Instead we had a pleasant walk down to the seashore. I did query this with Kate and Carli, who said they were not allowed cycle into the forest. Viator should really change there description and photos of the Tour. However we did enjoy our experience and can recommend this trip

So many 5 star reviews, I have not been able to keep up with responding to them all! Thank you for your kind comments, I am sure others will appreciate them and will help them make the decision to experience a tour with iRide Alaska!! We have changed the photos that were taken when the tour was being created. We are seeking permit from the city to include the gravel road.
