We have heard about the Edge and were trilled to visit the Edge for the first time. We were many times in NYC but this was our first long vacation after the pandemic. However, our experience at the Edge was disturbed since the first steps walking down to the in-door observation floor. We were excited and were starting to enjoy the view, but there was a shooting team and one of the production staffs requested me to step out off their way, and pointed me out to the out-door observation area instead. We together then went out and continue our sight-seeing, trying not to let this first impression on the Edge to bother. But later we were disturbed again by the same production team, there were many visitors on the Edge during that time and people were patiently queued to take the picture at the popular spots. I was one who were queuing and my husband was waiting to take a picture for me at the nice sunset time. During the peak of the most beautiful sunset time, the production team came across and cut the queue of many people who were waiting in line and asking the security guard to hold people off, and the production director asked people to stay off their way!. This was unacceptable, very rude and was the act of recklessness, inconsiderably that it was a very bad manner cutting in front of the line of people, unawarely that these people were also customers who paid to get to this observation deck and some had to pay extra to get there during the sunset time, but we were treated like we were just the crowd that have to stay away of their way when they want. The guard was also not so aware about this fact. In stead of the guard giving a convenience to this production, why not taking times to check the whole safety? I experienced some visitors strongly stumped on the glass floor to playfully test the toughness of the floor and accidentally dropped a can of beverage on it when I was standing on that exact same glass floor. I knew that the glass floor is strong enough. But such a risky act should be warned and avoided. The Edge should be more considerable about this matter, and should have not sold the tickets or closed the whole floor during the shooting or should have warned their customers during the ticket reservation stage. We would have chosen another day or even another observation deck if we knew about this. Most of customers including us are visitors, it was not easy for us to just come back, buying another tickets to fix what we have missed at any time. This was a VERY DISAPPOINTING experience visiting the Edge and made us very upset. We had better experience visiting Top of the Rock and Empire State. By the time that the production was finished, the best sunset was gone. It was a disturb and a steal of moment and best memory!

Great views especially liked the see through floor to view the streets of New York. Very efficient and helpful when we had to rebook tickets when our original date had zero visibility

Excellent spot to see NY! Very impressive! Few years ago I went to another observatory place in NY, this one is the one!
