I've lived in South Florida about 60 years and although I've driven through the Everglades, I've never actually experienced it from an airboat. Holiday Park is not a huge place, but it's a gem. The airboat ride was fascinating - we saw some gators and the guide made sure to point out the various birds (that you only see in the 'glades). The gator show was informative and the people who work here are quite friendly to everyone.

Pretty good, about as expected. Fortunate to see about 6 gators, huge iguana in tree, and few other things. Went Easter morning at open and buses (multiple) were rolling in. Very busy place and popular place. Surprised on holiday for it to be that busy. Gators in pit show afterwards are huge, those on tour are much, much smaller. Tour guide was very entertaining got a passenger to eat a ?bug/worm?. It was nice having a roof above boat to block out sun.

My family had a fantastic Airboat Tour at the Everglades Holiday Park all because of Captain M.T. He is a cross between an alligator whisperer and a visiting biology professor. We felt immediately at ease with his friendly and adventurous personality. A marvelous sense of humor combined with an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Everglades. He was able to call the gators to the boat with his voice mimicking a baby gator in distress and he took the time to ensure everyone on both sides of the boat could see the gators and wildlife. His passion for the conservation of the Everglades was infectious and he spent time educating us on the gators, birds, fish, snakes and plants of the region. He talked at length about the wonderful efforts of the Swamp Apes and their combined efforts to control the invasive snake population and assist Veterans at the same time. It is an honor to hear about the efforts and successes of this wonderful charity. Captain M.T. brought the tour to life and it was so much more and better than just a trip to see some alligators! The support staff were great, too. And we ran into a very helpful clerk in the gift shop, we think her name was Donna. She took extra time to help us pick out the perfect alligator carving and even went to the store room to bring others to choose from. All in all a very enjoyable, entertaining, and enlightening trip. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you again.
