Brilliant day with Wild Lime Adventures. Fortunately for me there were some last minute cancellations so that I had the guide, biologist and driver Stacey, all to myself. Her enthusiasm, good nature and deep local knowledge made for an outstanding trip as we visited formerly inihabited floating islands, had close up encounters on back roads with beautiful bird life, ambeling alligators and soft shell turtles, walked through pristine habitat learning about the forests and fauna and cruised the Ten Thousand Islands encoutering more gators, wading birds, including the gorgeous Roseate Spoonbill (still enjoying saying that) huge Tarpon in a feeding frenzy and a familly of friendly dolphin. I would hugely recomend this tour, particularly for those new to this spectacular and under appreciated region.

Thank you so very much for taking a moment to leave us this really nice review. It means a lot, especially since so many businesses like ours have been closed for so long due to the pandemic - and are now excited to have recently reopened! We really enjoyed being out there with you, in a place we love very much. We love that you loved it too. Please connect with us again when you are down this way again one day. Many thanks!

We just realized that somehow we didn't respond to you before. Quite sorry about that. We really appreciate your review and your kind words. We worked hard to that point to reopen after being closed for the pandemic, and are very appreciative that we got to experience what we love doing with you! Hope to see you again one day down the road.

As a relatively recent transplant to Florida, I had yet to go to the Everglades. When my 14 year old niece visited, it was the perfect opportunity for us to head out. I'm glad we did it in March, weather was beautiful, cool and crisp in the shade and warm in the sun, and most importantly, NO bugs. I didn't want the typical in/out 1 hour air boat ride, so when researching and asking around, the concierge at the 1 Hotel Miami Beach had recommended Wild Lime, and I am sure glad he did. Their options of full day trips were phenomenal and exactly what I was looking for, something that included more immersive time with nature and a small group where any and all questions would be answered. I also loved that they picked us up, included lunch, and dropped us off. Our tour guide, Olena, was fantastic. A great energy, and very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the Glades. My niece saw more alligators than she could count, we saw dolphins, manatee's, many bird species (Snail Kites). The variety of activities was perfection: a 1 hour boat ride in the 10,000 Islands area was breathtaking, the landscape is unlike any other; lunch in and departing for our 10,000 Island boat ride out of Chokoloskee was great; our 1.5 hour hike in the Big Cypress National Preserve was educational and beautiful; finally, our 1+ hour air boat ride with and on the Miccosuke Indian Reservation was the highlight for my niece, roaring around and seeing all kinds of alligators was a great way to end the day. Ben the owner was easy to get a hold of for all my questions and the price point for the activities was very good in my opinion. With out a doubt, if you are looking for either a shorter trip or a full day (do it!): WILD LIME is hands down the best!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this wonderful review. I apologize that it has taken us a while to respond back. It's been a little crazy lately to say the least, but please forgive us. Thank you for mentioning that you really enjoyed Olena, and that the whole trip was a memorable experience. I certainly hope you continue to have memories of that beautiful day, and that those memories along with others, will help sustain you and your niece's sense of optimism through these challenging times we find ourselves in right now. I know that is one of my strategies of coping myself. Please stay safe during this time, and we hope to see you on another adventure one day down the road. Please take care!
