A fun adventure for the price. We were able to get a 10% senior discount - so be sure to ask. There is ample parking when you arrive. After purchasing tickets, we had about a 20 minute wait before we boarded our boat. The airboat fits quite a few people. We had 19, and there was still room for 8 or 10 more. Most boats I saw were not full. But it was a cool temperature day at about 70 degrees. It was a very good idea to have a jacket, especially since you travel at pretty fast speeds. The drivers communicate where they are finding the gators, so we went pretty straight away to three of them. Two of the alligators stayed close to the boat as we approached, and weren't frightened away. Let us take lots of pictures, and one swam right along the boat for a really close view. A large turtle even swam by as we sat there. The rest of the 20 or so minutes of ride were taken up with skimming the surface of the water. There was a little narration, and our guide was pleasant and personable. I like that the seats are elevated theater style so everyone has a great view. Front row may be best for view and because it is furthest from the motors which are very noisy. They give out ear plugs, but I wish I had thought to bring my Bose noise canceling earbuds. There is a well-stocked gift shop to browse through. I don't buy souvenirs, but there was some fun sweatshirts, snacks, and a variety of hot sauces among tons of other things.
