On a cold and snowy day Rich was great fun and really informative. He took pictures for us and took us to the best little coffee shop in Evergreen. Red Rocks was beautiful in the snow, as was the landscape surrounding Buffalo Bill's grave. I highly recommend this half day trip.
My tour guide was awesome, knowledgeable and made the experience really fun!
This is one of the best tours I've ever been on. That was due in some part to the amazing, freshly-dusted-with-snow locations where we stopped. But the main reason for this tour's success was our fantastic guide, Austin. He is incredibly knowledgeable of Denver's and Colorado's histories and couldn't be more accommodating to our requests. Despite there only being two of us on the tour and that it was snowing it got around 11 degrees F, Austin decided not to cancel the tour so that we could see some of the beauty Colorado had to offer.
We were driven around in a 15-passenger van equipped with heat and A/C Austin made sure the van was warm before we got in and even opened the doors for everyone. There are restrooms, water, and snacks facilities at each stop, and Austin can refill any water bottles you have.
Austin was more than willing to take photos of us whenever we asked, and he's none too shabby a photographer either.
The most walking occurred when we walked from the bottom of the Red Rocks Amphitheater to the top but there are no difficult climbs or hikes everything is very walkable, and Austin waited for us without making us feel pressured to hurry our exploring.
For a first time visit to Colorado, I highly recommend this tour. Next time, I'll definitely be signing up for the longer, Rocky Mountain National Park tour.
