We are the Official Trolley Tours for the City of Fredericksburg, Texas.Tours are led by local historians and expert members of the community. Tours are fun, fact filled, and offer an opportunity to explore some areas that most tourists don't have time to see. Our German history is highlighted in our narrative and by viewing local landmarks of historic value. Fredericksburg has over 399 remaining historic structures within our district, many of which you will view from the large windows of the Trolley. This tour highlights our cultural offerings, old town, things to do, and early Texas - German ties that make Fredericksburg one of the top ranked places to visit in the United States!
This tour is also offered as a PRIVATE TOUR AVAILABLE for 8+ people and can be booked any day of the week as a private tour. Please be aware that for less than 8 passengers this tour may take place in our luxury mini-coach.

Our guide did not have a microphone, and did not use the bus’s A/C because they thought it would be too loud to hear them speaking over the A/C. The bus quickly became very hot. About 1 hour into the trip, a passenger started to overheat and get sick. The tour guide did not address their complaint until multiple other passengers complained. Neither the guide or driver paused to check in on the sick passenger. After turning the A/C on, they continued with the tour without offering to take anyone back early.

Austin- thank you for calling this to our attention. Our guides are trained and expected to use their microphones and our vehicles are equipped with three air conditioners to keep our guests cool, in every seating area. Our goal is to provide a quality tour for every guest and we are going to take steps to assure all that this will not happen again.

The tour was nice. I thought we would see the painted church building, but we did not. If was a little pricey, but over all we enjoyed ourselves.

Hi there! We do stop at that location but it's not always available to us to show- depending on whether or not there is a special service going on. But we always provide our best possible opportunities for our guests. And at under $35 for roughly 2 hours, we hope to provide a good value - a narrated guide, cold iced water, air conditioned beautiful trolley ride so you don't have to drive, with great viewing windows. We invite you back!

This was a wonderful tour! Lots of information about Fredericksburg!! We all had a great time. We especially loved both of the church stops.
