Our guide Kari Doer spelling? was amazing on this 12 hour tour. She was a walking encyclopedia including geology, history, wildlife flora and fauna! She was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable! We were given a breakfast snack, a picnic lunch, beverages and snacks. We visited Old Faithful, the prismatic springs, the lower loop , the upper and lower falls of the Yellowstone. She had a scope to show us a peregrine nest with a chick which was great.
We stopped many times for wildlife and pictures. It was a long day but worth every minute and well worth the cost of the trip. My husband and I were exhausted when we returned but very satisfied.
Spectacular scenery and wildlife viewing. Our guide, Trevor, was brilliant. His knowledge and insights of the area and its wildlife, together with his passion for conservation and his friendly nature made this one of the best tours I've been on. The small group was good too as it allowed us to be pretty nimble at stops. Wildlife sightings included elk, bison, moose, black bear, female grizzly with cubs, coyote, osprey, antelope. The bus was comfortable and dead on time for pick up. It's a full day but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We learnt so much from our guide and we're grateful that we picked this tour rather than self-drive. If you only have a few days in Jackson I would highly recommend this tour.
Tour guide Sammy worked very hard to show the four people on the tour a wide range of Yellowstone sights, and was well-prepared.. In particular, she worked very hard to give us the opportunity to see a number of animals, including many elk, a grizzly bear and black bear.
