Listed as in a jeep but was in an enclosed van with tinted windows. Difficult for photography, although comfortable.
Lunch was lovely, fresh and by a pretty creek.
Takes about 3 hours each way driving, before Yellowstone wildlife is even possible. This is half of the time stated, and we didn't spend 12 hours - only 10.5.
Driver was a good driver but only moderately knowledgeable. Many answers were not known by her. Her voice was loud and whining and she didn't sound very interested in the clients. She obviously loves nature though and took us to some excellent spots, often away from the larger crowds.
Summer is NOT a good time to see wildlife in Yellowstone or Grand Tetons, except possibly at dawn and dusk. We saw 2 elk, 2 deer, some antelope and many bison. In 10 hours. I loved the area but was disappointed overall.
Nick was very accommodating to our group, making our wish list of sightseeing happen. It was a great day and well worth it.
So much information in a very full, fun filled day! Great tour!
