We really wanted an adventure & wanted to experience as much as possible without the crowds. This is the best tour ever!!!! I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants an off the beaten path adventure. Garl, is the best. He is not only knowledgeable, but he cares about the Everglades and it's conservation efforts and supports this in all ways that he can. We appreciate everything he does for the Everglades.

If you want to experience a unique part of Florida that puts you up close and personal with the untamed Everglades this is the adventure for you! You will see frogs, birds, alligators, snakes, plants, flowers and everything else in between. Garl is the local expert and knows where to go to find all the "cool" stuff. Walk barefoot through the Everglades if you dare ( Garl does) or wear shoes that have more than a simple strap as the mud at times will suck your shoe off. I wore river shoes and had no problems. Others wore Tevas and such and had issues. This is not for the person who is afraid of getting a little dirty or walking through the wild. It was a full day of driving, hiking, kayaking and exploring. I highly recommend this unique environment to truly experience this part of Florida.

I can not recommend this tour enough! We met at midday and finished a couple of hours after sunset. It was just us, one other couple and Garl as our guide so we were able to see a lot and ask a lot of questions. First we went walking through the mangroves to a couple of alligator holes, and saw a couple there as well as snakes and frogs! We did some kayaking where we were surrounded by alligators which was amazing, they were very curious to see us but not once did I feel unsafe, just excited! We also stopped to see a soft shell turtle getting ready to lay her eggs, which Garl somehow managed to spot from the truck! We stopped for more kayaking where we saw a female manatee and her baby - which was one of my aims when going to Florida. We also saw crocodiles and watched the sunset with some wine! We then went on a night walk where we saw all the alligators gathering for food with special lights, and even held a firefly! Seriously, if you go to the Everglades, do this trip - you won’t forget it and Garl literally knows everything ! Thank you for an unforgettable day. Laura & Sam, UK.
