We booked the bayside kayaking and snorkelling tour. We were fortunate to have Garl as our Guide. He was very patient with us (especially as we had not done much kayaking or snorkelling before) and taught us the basics to enjoy our adventure. He also made sure that we were happy with the weather conditions before we left (there was a risk of rain), the small amount of rain we did have just added to the adventure! We kayaked out to a small island where we explored the mangrove swamp and then went snorkelling. The snorkelling was amazing, there is a huge amount of wildlife under the water, we saw Horseshoe crabs, jellyfish, coral and a wide variety of fish. The sea was warm and Garl took the time to point out wildlife and show us where to look. After a trip round the island he then let us explore for ourselves (with him close by), this was great fun. Afterwards we kayaked back via the coast looking for Manatees. Unfortunately there were none but that made no difference to how much we enjoyed this part of the adventure. Along the coast we saw iguanas and enjoyed the views of the bay, swamps and nice villas Garl's knowledge of the area and the wildlife is vast and he was a pleasure to spend time with, relaxed, patient and knowledgeable We highly recommend Garl's tours and next time we are in Florida we are sure to take another trip with them again. My wife and I did the full day "slog and kayak" trip. Our guide,Don, made this a great experience. His knowledge of the flora and fauna was incredible. Since we were the only two on the trip, we were able to customize our activity. A real highlight was kayaking with the alligators.

My husband and I took the half day tour on May 4th. What an awesome trip! We would have done the full day if it weren't our last night in Key Largo before our journey back to CA. This was a highlight for our trip (even over our scuba dives). Garl is a very laid back nice guy who has a passion for the outdoors and teaching us about the wildlife. The next time we return, we will go for the full day tour. He takes photos throughout the trip so, if you have an expensive camera you don't want wet- I wouldn't bring it. I didn't bring mine and I was very wet after the kayak ride. It could be because an alligator attacked my paddle and growled at me so I did jump and fling water LOL....but who knows! Not once did we feel unsafe, even with the alligators bumping into your kayak. Those things come out of no where! I can't say enough about this tour. This is something we will remember forever.
