We had the most adventurous afternoon with Garl. He took us deep into the swamp regions with alligator, mosquitos, and mud. It was loads of fun and extremely educational. Garl is very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does with his trips. He spends alot of time training his other guides to do the same. We saw dozens of gators and numerous other wildlife. We will join him again in the future during a different season to experience another cycle of life in the Everglades. I highly recommend this trip for any nature lover. We were up close and personal with gators and snakes and felt totally safe with Garl as our leader.

Let me start off by saying it exceeded every expectation we had. Now to be fair if your more interested in a pedestrian stroll this is not for you. This is an incredible walk through the mud and the muck. You will see birds, spiders, flora, snakes and plenty of just cool things that share our world with us. This is not a ZOO this is the real deal, Garl had us in alligator habitats by foot and by Kayak and let me say, this is a full day of "keep your eyes peeled!" We saw alligators & Crocodiles from a distance and I mean literally so close they bumped/hit our kayak. I cannot say this enough this is not a petting zoo this is what you see on National Geographic. I could go on and on but I won't because no words will do it justice. In summary take the bug repellant clothing offered, take your own water, wear a hat and sunglasses and listen intently to Garl or whoever your guide may be. This is a MUST do for anyone that has a little Tom Sawyer in them or Indiana Jones. Its an all day adventure and one I will never forget. PS I forgot to mention Garl is aces! He has a passion for what he does and he thoroughly enjoys answering questions and educating everyone on the trip. Thanks Garl and team what a day!

Forget noisy airboats! Garl was an excellent and really knowledgeable guide who took us for an exciting full day kayaking and walking tour in the Everglades. We came real close up to numerous alligators, and learned that it was nothing to be afraid of. No pythons spotted, but one beast of an American Crocodile! This is a real adventure and no simple touristy thing, It's for those that are truly interested to learn about the ecology and want to be right in it. You need to tolerate muddy feet, walking in the scrub and paddle alongside the alligators. There were children in our group that did very well, and luckily no adults that made any fuss. As a reward you get a trip you will never forget! Go with Garl for a real treat!!!
