Me and my friend were lucky enough to do a trip with Mike. From beginning to end Mike was knowledgeable, friendly, just hands down amazing. Did not mind following him in to the unexpected day walking around in the Everglades on foot (once past an alligator). We felt secured and like we were in good hands. Highly recommend these guys if you’re looking for a breathtaking experience with the full wonders of the Everglades. On our way back Mike was able to spot a tiny green tree frog from a moving vehicle hidden in the palms. So impressive. We even had the chance to save a snake from being road kill. Worth every penny and more.

Have you ever wanted to wade through a swamp and kayak through mangroves in search of alligators and snakes? If so, then this is your trip! These were bucket list items for me, and Mike was a fantastic and knowledgable guide. I saw manatees, dolphins, ospreys, green herons, anoles, orchids, and a ton of bromeliads. Learning about the ecosystem in person is the only way to go. Said another way, if I had just driven through the park, I would have missed out on a great experience. I would absolutely recommend this experience.

I read about Garl on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. We got lucky and my family of four had Garl to ourselves for the day. He is extremely knowledgeable and really loves helping people explore and learn about the Everglades. He was patient with our kids and really emphasized that it was our trip and that the activities he picked were designed around what he thought would be best. When the conditions impacted our ability to do the saltwater kayaking portion, he took us sloughing which ended up being crazy and incredible. Most of what we did in the park we NEVER would have done without an expert guide like Garl and I am grateful we were able to get such a unique experience. If I was to go back to the Everglades, I would ABSOLUTELY do another excursion with him and his company. Although we have not seen them yet, he took beautiful pictures of our family during the outing and we cannot wait to get the copies!
