We booked a tour with them through the Everglades Hostel, which was a full day tour from 9:30 to 6:30 (an hour longer than scheduled). It happened that we were the only people that day, so we had a private tour! Our guide Alex asked what our intests were and what we really wanted to see and then adjusted the program accordingly. He was very knowledgeable about the Everglades, the nature and wildlife, easygoing and made sure we got the best out of the trip. We provided a big lunch (sandwiches, fruit, cookies, juice), sunscreen, insect repellent, wet shoes and even special jackets to keep the mosquitos away! Our tour consisted of a wet walk through a cypress dome and a long kayak tour where we saw millions of birds. We stopped for a few gators along the road and saw manatees in the marina.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience in the Everglades, and I'd recommend this tour to everyone, maybe in combination with another day on your own, because there are so many different things to see.
Use the bug repellent though, the mosquitos are plentiful and relentless (there weren't any on our saltwater paddle, which was amazing, but they are everywhere else).
