My husband and I did the full day hiking/kayaking tour and it was amazing! The muck through the cypress dome was perfect. That little pocket of nature was beautiful and peaceful. Our guide, Ana, was so knowledgeable about the area, the plant life, the animals and all things Everglades! We saw lots of birds, a snake, lots of spiders, orchids, so many plants and the water was so clear as we went around and learned so much. The kayak through the mangroves was such an adventure. Ana gave us our space to explore while teaching and guiding us the whole time. By the end of the day, we saw a few manatees, an alligator, and three crocodiles. We had a great time and would do it again anytime!

My second time with Garl's. This tour was led by Carl. He knows all of the nooks and crannies and know where the alligators and crocodiles can be found (and knows their names). He has a wonderful knowledge of the area and its history. I will absolutely do this again.

My partner and I did the trip at the end of August. It was by far the best tour we've ever been on. As an ecologist it was fascinating, and my non-ecologist partner loved it just as much. It was exciting and beautiful. Worth every penny! Garl is great and really cares about the park and ecosystem, so you can be sure that minimize your ecological footprint.
