Pass was fine but we were given wrong information on where to collect it.
The first place on 7th Avenue no longer dealt with them and gave us an address at the Rockefeller centre.
They didn't know anything about it so we eventually went to 56th street and found a cycle hire shop which dealt with us.
So bad information which cost us a lot of time
All the reviews say it's worth but it's whatever. I think the only convenience is not waiting in ticket lines and only paying once versus at multiple locations. Picking it up at one of the 5 locations was a pain and we got there pretty late. We used this at the Natural History Museum and it only allowed for a basic ticket. We weren't allowed to see the 3-D shows there nor could we pay the $5-10 difference to add that on. They wanted us to buy new tickets at that price to see the 3-D shows. Such a bummer! Had I known, I would have used the 3rd tour for something else. We knew the 9/11 Museum closes at 8 or 9pm and it says 6pm suggested arrival. We got there at 7pm and their ticket booths are pretty much CLOSED! So don't even bother. They should take out the word SUGGESTED for 6pm and just say, ticket booths close at 6pm. So another tour eliminated from our choices. Ha! Empire State Building- is worse than a ride at Disneyland. They said it would only be a 40min wait time but it was 90min. The line to get the tickets wasn't even that bad 5-10min, so you don't need this pass, it doesn't help you at all. Get your tickets there. The express line is $50, not sure how valuable your time is, it would save you 60 out of those 90mins... So there's a line to get to the ticket booth, a mile line to the elevator, then another mile line to another elevator. It's insane. View is nice. If I was staying in NYC for longer, this pass might have been used to it's fullest potential, but there were too many inconveniences, so I wouldn't recommend it.
This is a great value but beware, depending on the sites you choose, you might end up with lots of wasted time trying to use the tickets to the sites. We didn't mind the extra time spent as we made it part of the adventure. (I was traveling with my 14 yr old niece). This pass did save us quite a bit of money compared to purchasing the tickets individually.
