We had the five attraction pass and we felt it was value for money. But once again, the process to convert our pre paid printed voucher was a nuisance as we had to find our way to the office which was incorrectly written on the voucher. Instructions said 3rd floor and in actual fact it is ground floor.
Viator need to sort this out as the street number is incorrect. It is the ground floor of the visitor centre next to the address given.
The New york explore pass didnot do what it promise to cover.
To many places to pick up passes at and everyone offers different things such as if we would of picked our pass up at Madam Tussads for Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty we could of gotten a free tour of the museum. Was not told that when we got our passes at Central Park Sighting (found out after looking up tours in guide book). Need to get tour guide book to people who book in advance so they have more opportunity to plan their tours. Need to express difference between World Trade Center workshop tour and 9-11 Memorial. Staff at 9-11 Memorial said that they have never heard of the World Trade Center Tour and would that not be located in the same site since the towers and trade center are all in one? I would give the City Explore Pass a Three due to all the quirks that we hd to go thru. Also the people at the tour operator were not very helpful in fixing any problems. They wanted us to do on our own. what good are they for. I would not recommend this to any friends visiting New York due to the inconsistencies of the way the passes are handled with no location pick up sight on the same page or the tour places themselves. Other then that we had a great trip except for your subway system.
