By far our most popular private hiking tour, this hike and sightseeing tour offers guests varying views of the Canyon, from the inside out. This tour is for guests who want to enjoy an excellent tour of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, but also spend some time below the Rim.

Enjoy a great tour with a knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic guide who loves what they do. We provide door-to-door service from your stay place with everything you need to have a great time. Grab your camera and leave the lunch, snacks, beverages, hiking equipment, and driving to us! We pick up in the following towns: Flagstaff, Williams, Tusayan, and Grand Canyon.

Lunch will be ordered after booking. Gluten and/or dairy free available upon request.

Yavapai Point

We start the day with a viewpoint where your guide will give a hiking orientation.

South Kaibab Trail

The hiking portion of this tour will traverse 3/4 of a mile down the South Kaibab to Ooh Aah Point and then go back up the same way you came. Weather and crowd permitting you will enjoy a picnic lunch at the viewpoint. This delicious lunch is made by Brandy's restaurant the morning of your tour. All your gear, such as backpacks and trekking poles is provided.

Grand Canyon South Rim

The rest of the day is spent traveling to various viewpoints along the South Rim in a comfortable air conditioned van or SUV. At each viewpoint we will exit the vehicle and your guide will spend time showing you views through the provided spotting scope and regale you with interpretation that includes information about the plants, animals, peoples, history, and archaeology of the Grand Canyon. The viewpoints included depend on weather, time of year, crowds, and guide preference. They may include, but are not limited to: Mather Point, Grandview Point, Moran Point, Tusayan Ruins, and Desert View Watchtower.

We had a fantastic day with Ben! I truly recommend booking this type of trip with All Star Tours if you have limited time to spend at the Grand Canyon. Ben took us to several different places to give us a sense of the scale and beauty of the canyon. He also led us on a hike into the canyon that was appropriate for our family of two adults and two teens. The lunch and sunset snack that were provided were delicious-and satisfied our picky eaters. It was a wonderful experience we won’t soon forget! Thank you for an amazing day!

We had the ultimate private GC tour with our family in March 2022. Our guide, Andrew, was absolutely fantastic and helped our family make memories for a lifetime. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, as well as enjoyable and personable. The whole day was seamless and special, and he took care of every detail- from picking us up in an immaculate SUV, to lunch together and a breathtaking sunset toast as the day’s finale. It simply couldn’t have been better. We are super grateful to All Star and, especially, Andrew!!!

Molly was our guide and she was so wonderful. She was right on time to pick us up at the hotel, and was super patient when we misplaced our rents car keys. She was extremely informative, the vehicle was very nice and clean, and well stocked with drinks and snacks. She asked if we wanted to hike a less-traveled trail and it was perfect. Lunch was amazing and we felt like we made the most of our day. I would highly recommend Molly and his company. It was such a special day and so much of that was due to Molly.
