What can I say, but this is truly the way to go see the Grand Canyon if you want to see and learn the most in a day and really enjoy it. Our tour guide, and the company owner, Ben was our driver and guide for the day for my family of 5, 3 teenage girls and my wife and I. Ben was fabulous, he picked us up at our hotel in Flagstaff just before 8 am in a very nice new tour van and off we went, providing us a ton of information all about the area, the botany, the wildlife, the activities you can do and giving us all kinds of ideas of things to go see or do if we had time. His way of introducing the Grand Canyon to you can only be described as Breathtaking! He was so good about giving us time to take in the majesty of our Lord’s creation and then taking some great pictures of our family in front of these views. We then took an amazing hike down the South Kaibab trail, perfect hike for our family, we even went a little farther than planned, as our original stopping point for lunch was very windy at the time, which we were glad to hike some more on such a gorgeous day. We had a great lunch, excellent sandwiches that we had ordered ahead of time with all the fixings we could add, a great pasta salad- Ben’s recipe, chips and homemade chocolate chip cookies! We got to enjoy seeing an entire group of mules traveling up the trail while enjoying our lunch. After the hike Ben took us to several more beautiful stops along the south rim to the east edge, always taking us to spots that were away from the crowds to give us great views and pictures. We truly had a wonderful day with Ben. I would recommend this tour company to anyone, as they will truly tailor the day to what you are after. Thank you Ben and All-Star Tours!

Perfection was the adjective of the day. John met us and began our Canyon tour right away with some wonderful lookout spots. Then we hit Hermit Trail. John was a PRO! Everything was provided, day packs, water, and walking poles. Our pace was tailor made for our abilities and along the way John made sure to stop and give us some insight on the geology, history and botany of the area. The intermediate hike was not easy but with John's help we felt comfortable and safe. Our lunch spot was glorious and the sandwiches and sides he brought along hit the spot (even for gluten free folks and picky eaters). We were able to experience the Grand Canyon unlike anything we would have been able to do on our own.
