I took this plane ride 20 years ago and it was magical, so on my next trip to the Grand Canyon I had to do it again. I wish I could give it 5 stars because we enjoyed the flight. However, when we were receiving our briefing in the airport, there was a woman not wearing a mask, just a bandanna below her nose. Neither pilot nor crew said anything to her. Because of this, my husband asked the pilot if everyone would be wearing masks on the plane and he said yes but still didn’t say anything to the woman standing in front of him with no mask. He said, “I don’t think any of you have COVID or you wouldn’t be here.” I said, “we may just not be showing symptoms yet.” He said, “I’m not sure what I believe about that, but let’s just leave it at that.” He obviously has never lost anyone to COVID, and doesn’t believe what the medical professionals tell us. The woman didn’t wear a mask on the flight, he said nothing to her and I felt very unsafe. I wouldn’t do this flight until COVID is over bc NO ONE at this company is enforcing mask rules and it’s a tiny plane. It would also be nice if they cleaned the windows better to improve the view and picture taking.
