We had a group of 7 ranging from 15YO to 63YO, and everyone had a great time on this hike in June 2019. The weather was unusually cold for June (it even snowed part of the time), but we all wore lots of layers and kept comfortable. Even our teenagers, who didn't used to enjoy outdoor activities, had a great time.
Emily Jo was a wonderful guide. She answered all our questions, pointed out animals (plus their spoor and poop!) and points of interest we would never have seen on our own, and adjusted the pace to our interests and abilities. She was toting a spotting scope so we got to see clear views of a grizzly bear on the far slope plus close-ups of many of the other animals.
There was short period of uphill hiking, but mostly the terrain was very gentle.
Would highly recommend this hike for anyone.
