Our favorite thing while traveling is to find a train to ride, so this was perfect for us. The prices are reasonable for everything that is included. The hotel was really nice, the rooms clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I was disappointed, but in hindsight should have known the food included in the package was a buffet. That being said, the food was really good considering it was a buffet. The Wild West Show before the ride was very entertaining and funny, the actors interacted with the audience quite a bit. We went to a similar show in South Dakota and this one was better. The train ride itself was amazing. We chose to ride in the car that was made in the 1920's that you could open the windows, and be able to feel like you were on a train. It was funny to watch as the other passengers came through our car to get to the food car, because the other cars are modern and have a much smoother ride.
* I would caution future travelers to either do the package where you stay overnight at the canyon or have an extra day to go up and explore at your leisure. We went up the day before and did the path just at the village assuming the next day on the train that we would have time to go to the outer reaches. We were wrong, by the time we had lunch the only thing we had time for was to rush to the south bus stops in order to catch a glimpse of the river.
