The shuttle came has advertised in front of the hotel to pick us up and drive us first to Hoover Dam for a short stop, then to a spot along Road 66 and finally to Grand Canyon.
Walt, our tour guide, was really friendly and helpful, telling us a good bit of history about the Las Vegas area, the construction process of the Hoover Dam and so on. Interesting movies were also shown during the ride to highlight the landmarks we were visiting.
The only issue I had with the tour was the duration of the trip. Expecting a “2 to 3 hours ride”, bad traffic approaching Grand Canyon Park made the duration go up to 5 hours bumper to bumper. This would have been fine if it hadn’t cut short our sight-seeing time at Grand Canyon. Nothing that neither the driver or the company could really help, but still a bit frustrating. Maybe having a line dedicated to tour buses and commercial vehicles would help...
