It's a nice museum. Beautiful entry exhibit and we really loved the thunderstorm inside. Very informative but....a bit short for full museum price. All in all a nice quick stop in travel routine.

What an amazing place! This is well worth visiting and even though we are 13 hours away, we will return! So well done, interactive and well cared for. It was an awesome experience - a true step back in time.

Excellent pictorial history of those pioneers seeking better lives. Unfortunately the name of the museum does not draw you into their embrace. I highly recommend adding the word pioneer to the museum’s title. We nearly missed this well done effort since we were not sure what we might expect without any help from the title alone. We were unsure that this place was historically well done or simple another tourist trap before we went. But it was in fact well done and a pleasure to experience. Realistic depictions of life on the pioneer trails and prairies. The format was unusual but most enjoyable. Good for all travelers and families. We are very glad to have attended the well done effort.
