Paddle along the historic Anahulu stream, home of the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. These enormous and friendly sea creatures swim peacefully along the river. They can grow up to 500lbs!

Enjoy learning about the history of the location while learning skills and tips about stand up paddling. Come during the evening to enjoy a stunning Hawaiian sunset.

You will begin with a brief lesson on land and then paddle across a calm bay into the Anahulu stream. As a group lesson, other paddlers to join as well. Enjoy getting to know other travelers on a fun experience!

Don't have good balance? New to the sport? Don't know how to swim? No worries -- All our instructors are certified lifeguards, super friendly, and highly trained to give you an awesome experience on the water.

An absolute must. Best experience of Hawaii! Heidi went out of her way to make sure that we felt comfortable and educated prior to leading us to the mouth of the river and sending us on our way. Along the river we saw upwards of ten turtles, of all sizes. Incredible experience, and we loved that part of the proceeds go towards Operation Underground Railroad. Heidi’s compassion and spirit were a large part of what made this so special. 10/10 recommend Rainbow Watersports.

The group SUP group lesson was great! The amazing staff made sure everyone was able to have a great time no matter what their fitness level. My 8 year old son was not keen on having his own board so he was able to sit on the instructors board so he was still involved and we could all participate. All of my questions prior to the lesson were also answered quickly via email. Highly recommend this company.

Had an amazing experience!! My husband had never SUP’d before and Vivi was able to get him moving for 2 hours. We also saw sea turtles 🐢. Great time and highly recommended!! Would do this again in a heartbeat!! 🤙
