We booked this trip kind of last minute and were a little nervous because we had an 8 year old girl going river rafting with us but decided to book it anyway. They have wetsuits, wet boots (highly recommended) and of course life jackets on site. They don't charge a lot for the equipment either and if you rent a wetsuit and feel like you didn't need it they will refund the money (my wetsuit rental was 12 dollars). The trip was phenomenal, our guide Dylan was knowledgeable, funny and made sure we had a great time. We did the half day tour on the lower Animas, will definitely do it again. You rock Dylan!

We had an amazing time rafting the lower Animas River with our awesome guide, Sam! He had 16 years experience and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. He shared knowledge about rafting and interesting stories along the way. Every moment was interesting and fun. He was great with the kids and really made sure we had fun and earned a bit along the way. All the guides were great and personable and involved at beginning and end. It was obvious they all work super closely and well together. The pre-process was easy and painless. There was about 15 min of getting ready/safety stuff before a short bus ride to the rafting area and the guides all worked quickly and collaboratively to get us in the water as quickly and safely as possible. From beginning to end it was an awesome experience! We will definitely do this again when back in the area. This was our favorite activity and day of our fun packed week.
